Valentin "Val" Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian-American professional dancer, best known for his appearances in the U.S. version of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). Chmerkovskiy is a two-time World Latin Dance Champion (Junior and Youth) and a 14-time U.S. national Latin Dance champion. He also won Dancing with the Stars in 2015. That year he danced with actress and singer Rumer Willis. He won the 10th anniversary season of DWTS for the first time with Rumer Willis.
